Privacy Policy

YOSOMICHI · Last updated 20 September 2026

This policy explains how YOSOMICHI (“the app”) handles personal data and information about the people who use it.

1. Who is responsible

YOSOMICHI is operated by tsyk-app, a sole proprietorship.
Contact: [email protected]

2. Accounts

No account is required. From the moment you open the app you can use every feature anonymously. We do not ask for a phone number or any other contact detail.

Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and serves a single purpose: carrying your data across to another device if you replace or lose this one. Nothing is restricted if you do not sign in. If you do sign in, we keep the email address attached to that account (including the relay address Apple creates when you choose Hide My Email) solely to verify that it is you and to carry your data across. We never use it to send you newsletters or announcements. If you do not sign in, we do not collect an email address.

3. Data we collect

3.1 Data needed to provide the app

We use this to choose the following days’ paths and to build the map of you shown inside the app. The email address is the exception: it is used only to verify you and carry your data across, never for choosing paths or building the map.

3.2 Data we collect only with your consent

3.3 Data collected to diagnose faults

4. Data we do not collect

The following never reaches us. It is not filtered out after the fact — no mechanism to send it exists.

5. Recipients and processors

We do not sell your data. To operate the app we use processors in the following categories, each bound by a contract governing how the data may be handled and subject to our oversight.

Data may be processed in Japan and in the countries where the processors above operate their services. Where data is transferred outside your country, we put appropriate safeguards in place, including standard contractual clauses, so that an adequate level of protection is maintained. We will tell you the countries involved and the safeguards applied if you ask us.

8. Children

The app is not directed to children. It is not designed for people under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. If a change means we begin collecting something new, we will tell you in the app.
